What Gatsby Says To Me
The theme so far in the book seems to revolve around social status and money. Money can drive a person to act boldly to get what they truly want. For instance, Jay Gatsby. He owns a lavish home near the love of his life, Daisy who happens to be married to a man she doesn’t love. Gatsby hosts sophisticated parties in hopes of seeing his first love whom he didn’t say goodbye to before leaving for war.
