Catch-22

In today's reading we saw Doc Daneeka complain about trust-- when he was lying- and we learned exactly what the Catch-22 is.

Catch-22: a dilemma which there is no escape from because of mutually conflicting or dependent conditions

Define in my own words...

Honestly it's somewhat confusing to define because it's better with an example. For instance, in the book those who are willing to carry out the flying mission are insane and shouldn't go on it because they don't fear dying or being in danger. As for those who don't want to, are not crazy because who'd want to die? The phrase in my perspective means there's something you want to get out of so you say, "I don't want to do"-- basically means you're fine to do it. But being willing to do a certain thing, would mean you're not fit to do it? Ahh, it's just something hard to put into words so that's probably why the phrase made by Joseph Heller came to be so popular because it was just difficult to put into words without confusing another person in the process.
