you are not entitled to your opinion

No one is entitled to their opinion. Why? Because being "entitled" is believing oneself to be inherently deserving of privileges or special treatment, at least that is how Google defines it. So why should you be entitled to have privileges or special treatments when you are a human just like everyone else? Imagine you and someone you care dearly about are about to cross a street. There is an incoming vehicle who doesn't seem to notice the both of you. The vehicle is going to make a right turn, but the person you care about already starts walking. You pull them back to avoid an accident from occurring and they suddenly look at you crazily like you had just offended them. They reply, "Why did you do that? I am entitled to my opinion." You'd stand there shocked by their response since they could have been involved in a fatal accident. After recomposing yourself you say, "well the vehicle was about to hit you." After expressing your reason they're enlightened with your actions. If this incident were to ever happen to someone you care about and they suddenly blurt out "I'm entitled to my opinion" when they're on the verge of death you'd intervene in order to stop them. You'd do all you can to change their opinion because you don't want them to be injured in any way.
