major premise, minor premise, conclusion
- evaluate to see if they're true or valid
truth: factually verifiable in the world
volatility: does the conclusion follow from the premises, do the premises support the conclusions
truth & volatility are the main parts of identifying a syllogism
ex. Australia is currently battling its worst wildfire in its history. Therefore, Queensland is on fire.

There are so many people who continue living in poor conditions where they work for long hours and get paid little to no money, why is it that extreme poverty continues to grow in this world of advancement?
