The Art of Hosting Good Conversations Online

Good conversations involve pure hearted thoughts that a user has contributed to the discussion. It is a place where there is room for elaboration, paving a way toward clarity on a variety of topics where users feel comfortable to express themselves. Avoiding incompetent comments is necessary to avoid people from becoming enraged/heated. From personal experience, there will always be someone who doesn't agree and verbally attacks the other side. It would be great to be considerate of the opposing sides' perspective.

Being polite toward the community is a must. As a host, they shouldn't take sides, since they'll be viewed as a biased person. The host should create an environment where it is welcoming to newcomers. Encouraging people to talk amongst themselves in the community will pave way toward more discussion.
